Performance Features

1. The gate of the valve has two sealing surfaces, forming a wedge shape. The wedge angle varies with the valve parameters, usually 5°. The sealing principle of the electric API 600 gate valve is to achieve sealing by tightly combining these two sealing surfaces with the two sealing surfaces on the valve body when they are wedged.

2. According to the different ways in which the valve stem drives the gate to open and close, it can be specifically divided into rising stem gate valves and concealed stem gate valves. According to the different forms of the gate structure, it can be divided into elastic gate valves and rigid gate valves.

3. The valve body of this valve is a casting, which is connected to the valve cover with bolts, and the middle flange is sealed with a spiral wound gasket. We can also use metal rings to connect according to the special requirements of customers.

4. The channel is unobstructed, the flow coefficient is small, and the sealing surface is less eroded and corroded by the medium.

5. The sealing surface is made of alloy steel or hard alloy, with good wear resistance and abrasion resistance.

6. Flexible graphite filler is used, which has good sealing and flexible operation.

7. The flow direction of the medium is not restricted, there is no disturbance, and the pressure is not reduced.
