Product Description

The butterfly plate of the soft seal dual plate check valve is two semicircles, with a spring-loaded disc suspended on a central vertical pin.
When the valve is opened, the combined force of the fluid is at the center of the disc sealing surface, and the point of action of the spring support force that acts as a reaction is located at the center of the disc surface, so that the root of the disc opens first. This avoids the wear of the sealing surface that occurs when the disc is opened in the old conventional valve, and increases the durability of the valve seal.
When the flow rate slows down, under the action of the torsion spring reaction force, the disc gradually approaches the valve seat and enters the slow closing stage of the valve. When the fluid flows back, its force on the disc and the torsion spring reaction force will work together, and the closing of the disc will increase accordingly, entering the fast closing stage. The purpose of this design is to reduce the water hammer phenomenon, reduce the harm of water hammer, and better extend the service life. When closing, the spring force point causes the top of the disc to close first, preventing the root from biting and improving the durability of the valve sealing surface.
