The lever single-actuated wafer butterfly valve (touch-activated) is a valve bolted between two pipe flanges. Its disc rotates 0° to 90° around its axis, enabling open and close control. It features a compact structure, lightweight (only 30% to 50% of a gate valve of similar size), and quick operation. Its core design features include:
Body Material: Gray cast iron (HT200/HT250), ductile iron (QT450-10), or stainless steel. Suitable for pipes with diameters from DN50 to DN600.
Connection: It lacks a built-in flange and is clamped between pipe flanges using long bolts, saving installation space and ensuring flange alignment.
Soft Seal: The disc edge of the lever single-actuated wafer butterfly valve (touch-activated) is coated with a rubber or PTFE seal. Leakage at room temperature meets Class VI (≤0.1% x DN) and is suitable for temperatures from -20°C to 150°C.
When fully open, the disc thickness represents the only flow resistance, reducing pressure drop to 1/3 that of a gate valve of the same specification, and providing excellent flow regulation linearity.
