Waits Valve high quality PTFE Lined Gate Valve is a corrosion-resistant valve whose valve body, valve disc and valve seat are lined with fluoroplastic (PTFE) on the inner wall. They are mainly used for pipeline control of corrosive media such as strong acids and strong alkalis. The corrosion resistance of fluoroplastics makes fluorine-lined gate valves the core shut-off equipment in highly corrosive media pipeline systems. However, its performance is limited by temperature, pressure and media characteristics, and needs to be reasonably selected according to specific working conditions.
Waits Valve's PTFE or PFA lined gate valves are mainly used in the chemical industry,
such as sulfuric acid, alkali, etc. The gate valve adopts a wedge structure.
The valve body material of PTFE Lined Gate Valve can be selected from ASTM A216 WCB, or stainless steel CF8, CF8M, etc.
Lining materials PFA and PTFE are both produced by DuPont or Daikin.

Product Features
1.The packing achieves reliable sealing through the compression force of the gland, preventing media leakage along the valve stem.
2.The one-piece construction of the disc and stem ensures a compact valve structure. A conical step on the stem provides backseat sealing when the valve is fully open.
3. During closure, pressure applied to the disc ensures tight contact between sealing surfaces, preventing media flow. This design minimizes wear and tear on the sealing faces.
