Waits Valve Ductile Iron Y-Strainer uses a one piece high strength and high quality ductile iron shell to protect the pipeline system. The Y-type designed by our team can effectively filter impurities with low pressure loss. When you work in industrial and civil pipelines, you will think of this product as very useful and helpful to you!
Waits Valve Iron Isolation Balance Ductile Iron Y-Strainer helps to filter particulate matter. The Y type filter contains multiple threaded interfaces for connecting PT points, exhaust ports and accessories. In addition, it also comes with an integrated stainless steel perforated filter. This rigorous design is the basis for your peace of mind!
Working Principle
When the fluid enters the Waits Ductile Iron Y-Strainer from the pipeline, it first flows into the "Y"-shaped cavity. Under the action of the filter, impurities are intercepted on the outside of the filter, while the clean fluid passes through the filter into the filter outlet and continues to flow in the pipeline. As the filtering process continues, impurities gradually accumulate on the filter surface. When the filter is clogged to a certain extent, the pressure difference between the filter inlet and outlet will increase, affecting the normal flow of the fluid. At this time, the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Performance Characteristics
The Waits ductile iron Y-strainer derives its name from its "Y"-shaped structure, which is designed to ensure smooth fluid flow within the strainer and reduce flow resistance. It typically features a removable design, such as flange or threaded connections, allowing for easy cleaning or replacement of the filter screen when it becomes clogged simply disassembling the corresponding connections enables effortless maintenance of the interior. With a simple structure and flexible installation options, this strainer can be mounted horizontally or vertically according to pipeline layouts. Moreover, its detachable design facilitates convenient maintenance: operators can easily disassemble the strainer for cleaning or screen replacement without special tools, thereby reducing both maintenance costs and complexity.
