Product Description

Waits Valve Waits Y-Strainers reduce pressure loss and capture impurities, using perforated or wire mesh screens to mechanically remove solid particles from flowing steam, gas or liquid piping systems and protect equipment. The strainer is made of precision cast stainless steel or ductile iron. Its removable screen and simple connection make it easy to maintain and install, and it is suitable for petrochemical, power and HVAC systems.

Installing strainers before valves and instruments can save expensive maintenance and repair costs. Use Waits Valve strainers with soft seat check valves (or ball valves from other manufacturers) to effectively eliminate harmful contaminants. Waits ValveY-Strainers are available in a variety of materials and a full range of end connections to accommodate a variety of applications. The "Y" shape design minimizes fluid blockage and keeps the flow unobstructed. The cap seal (graphite optional, suitable for high temperature environments) effectively prevents leakage. In addition, the filter is equipped with a drain port for self cleaning and easy maintenance.
